Because what girl doesn't love that
blue box? That sleek robin's egg blue tied with a white ribbon. It's the epitome
of elegance. I am quite certain this fairy delivers baubles and bangles of the
most beautiful sort.
The simple elegance of this gown is
what inspired its transformation. I began by mixing a beautiful robin's egg blue
and hand painted the dress. I added a pearlescent shimmer to give it a muted
sheen. The ribbon is made of a white silk and the bow is a heavy white duchess
satin.The back of the dress zips and buttons. The back of the skirt splits to
reveal a glistening organza layer that has a sweeping train.The wings are made
of white organza. They are edged with a pearl detailed embellishment and then
drip with a string of pearls on each wing. The wings have been attached to the
dress.
